Have you ever wondered about birds or stars or other natural beings?
The art in Starry Transit was inspired by the work of some scientists who wondered how birds navigate at night.

Martha Glowacki learned about research studies showing that night-migrating birds use star patterns to help them navigate. She thought these findings were "magical." She decided to make artworks that look like scientific instruments for looking at birds and stars.
